Heal Your Mind Through Body and Spirit
Man is made of body, soul, and spirit. You are made of a body, a soul, and a spirit. Think of yourself like this.
Now each of these three divisions consists of other elements. For example, the body houses the bones, muscles, various fluids, and organs, of which the brain is the most complex.
The soul is a person’s mind, with subsets of will, and emotions. And though you can’t see or touch them, no one would argue that they don’t exist.
The third major part of a human is their spirit. Humans have a spirit-man, as it is sometimes called. This part of a human is well-known in some religious faiths and occultic beliefs. If you know anything about astral projection or soul travel, it is that spirit-man that travels or projects. It is very real.
It is the part of us that is eternal. It can’t be killed like the body can (Matthew 10:28). It contains the mind, and is the part of us that the Bible says is made in the image and likeness of God. “Let us make him in our image,” said the Creator God in Genesis 1:26,27.
The soul is part of the spirit, and is also part of the body as well. The soul, consisting of a person’s mind, with the subsets of will and emotions included, is connected to the brain by some intangible Force.
